This notice explains, in plain words, what Reclaim Cuba PAC does with the information you give us when you join our email list. Reclaim Cuba PAC is independent and is not affiliated with Marco Rubio or any campaign.
What we collect
- Your name.
- Your email address.
- Your ZIP code, only if you choose to give it.
We collect nothing else through the signup form.
Why we collect it
We use your name and email address to send you updates about our work and events. If you give a ZIP code, it helps us understand where our supporters live.
Where your information goes
When you press Join, your browser sends your answers to FormSubmit, a third party form service. FormSubmit emails them to us at info@reclaimcubapac.org. FormSubmit may keep a copy under its own privacy policy. As with any website, FormSubmit can also see technical details of your connection, such as your internet address.
The email we receive is stored in the Google Workspace mailbox of Reclaim Cuba PAC. We keep your information until you ask us to remove it.
What we do not do
- This website does not use trackers.
- This website does not set cookies.
- This website does not use analytics.
- We never sell your information.
- We never rent your information.
- We never share your information with any candidate or campaign. We share it only with service providers who help us run Reclaim Cuba PAC, such as our compliance treasurer and our email and website services, and only to do that work, or when the law requires it.
Today, the services that handle your information are FormSubmit, Google Workspace, and Cloudflare, which hosts this website and, like any web host, can see technical details such as your internet address.
How to ask us to remove you
Email us at info@reclaimcubapac.org. Tell us the name and email address you used to join, and ask us to remove you. We will remove you from our list and delete your information. FormSubmit may keep a copy under its own privacy policy. We may keep records the law requires us to keep, such as donation records.
If you donate
Joining our email list is not a donation. If you donate, federal law requires us to collect your name, address, occupation, and employer, and to report donors who give more than US$200 in a year to the Federal Election Commission, which makes those reports public.
Changes to this notice
If we change this notice, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top.
